Contact Management and Mailings
This system was originally developed for a PR company but is easily modifiable for a broad range of contact management and list control tasks.
The system handles multiple database files allowing the data to be kept separately for individual clients, departments or projects.
The data is split into company and contact records and the stored contacts can be viewed either individually or grouped under their respective companies.
Action records can be attached to contacts to register that mailings have been sent, telephone calls placed, replies received etc. Actions can be keyed manually or automatically created by the
system as mailing lists are produced.
A comprehensive query manager allows users to filter contacts into lists by any combination of criteria. The criteria can be any combination of fields from the Company, Contact and Action
tables. The output records can be de-duped to ensure that each contact is only included once. The selected lists may be exported in various forms suitable for mailmerges, fax shots, mass
e-mailing etc.
